Candace Watson-Cole’s life is a testimony to the goodness, faithfulness, and miraculous healing power of God.

"ALL things will be used for His glory, for those who love Him and called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

After experiencing severe trauma and abuse as a child and being recruited into sex trafficking as an adolescent, Candace found solace in drugs and alcohol to help her cope with her past. While struggling with addiction, Candace was a single mother who was desperately trying to run from the memories of her past while figuring out how to keep her child from experiencing the same trauma that she had. It was while Candace was serving a three-year prison sentence that she experienced the love of God and the delivering power of Jesus Christ as she surrendered her life to the Lord. Like Mary Magdalene, Candace experienced deliverance, freedom, and wholeness in Jesus Christ. Jesus showed Candace that she had to be free from yesterday to live for today, so she began a journey toward healing and restoration that has led to over thirteen years of sobriety. What the enemy intended to destroy her purpose, her identity, and her value is now the very platform upon which God is building the ministry that He has called her to. Candace is now the Executive Director of Rubies, which is a home for women coming out of the bondage of addiction and/or sex trafficking. She helps other women who have endured similar trauma and suffering to find healing in the arms of Jesus. It is Candace’s joy and honor to lead as many women as possible from victimhood into victory in Jesus Christ.
